Program Overview

Montessori's vision for educating children aged 6 to 12 as "education for life" is at the core of our elementary program. At this stage, children are conscious of their learning process and seek diverse experiences. Our program fosters academic excellence, nurturing each child's curiosity and creativity.

Elementary students utilize reason and imagination to grasp life's interconnections, exploring and constructing the abstract world. With a philosopher's curiosity, they engage in research, analysis, and drawing conclusions based on their discoveries, making wonder and excitement intrinsic to their learning experience.

Social Characteristics

Children at this age are inherently social, seeking companionship and group belonging. The Elementary classroom offers numerous collaborative opportunities guided by Montessori-trained teachers. Through teamwork, students establish core values, expectations, and rules for their community. In this mixed-age setting, older students become leaders and role models for their younger peers.

Moral Characteristics

Children of this age are fascinated by rules, justice, and societal order. They are in the process of developing within the human society, expanding their personal world and showing a keen interest in ethical issues—distinguishing right from wrong, just from unjust, and fair from unfair.

Intellectual Characteristics

Utilizing reason and imagination, the child comprehends life's interconnections, questioning both the "why" and "what." Imagination is a key tool for exploring and constructing the abstract world. The Elementary-aged child, marked by a philosophical spirit, embraces wonder and excitement as intrinsic elements of their learning journey.
