Within Fernwood’s diverse community, we cultivate an atmosphere that promotes understanding and appreciation for the unique perspectives that each person contributes to our Montessori family.

Our annual International Night is celebration of the many cultures represented in the community, and a chance for students, families, and staff to learn about each other's treasured traditions. Through food, music, storytelling, and dress, we learn to appreciate the exciting variety of experiences within our community. Students are encouraged to share their culture within the classroom community throughout the year as well.
